The 2023 Royal Rumble event is set to take place on January 28th from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Like every year, this year’s show is headlined the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches. The Premium Live Event also featured a stacked card hence promising an exciting night of action. One of the biggest talking points of the Royal Rumble is the much-anticipated return of Cody Rhodes. It also looks like WWE is quite excited about this year’s event as well.

WWE has already released its cold open for the Royal Rumble just one day before the event. The cold open was uploaded on WWE’s official YouTube Channel and is narrated by country singer Hardy.

The country hit-maker first appeared on the January 2nd episode of WWE RAW and is set to give a musical performance at the Royal Rumble. During the cold open, the spotlight was on a plethora of WWE Superstars including Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, and the returning Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes is rumored to win the Royal Rumble match this year and on the women’s side, Rhea Ripley is the betting favorite to win the Royal Rumble match.

We will also get to witness the first-ever pitch-black match between Bray Wyatt and LA Knight. The rules of the match haven’t been announced which makes it all the more intriguing.

The storyline between Sami Zayn and The Bloodline has also been gaining momentum and is getting more interesting as time goes on.
