Charlotte Flair turned babyface after she beat Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship on the December 30, 2022, edition of the blue brand. The Queen will defend her title next week.

WWE aired a behind the scenes footage from Charlotte Flair’s interview with Ryan Satin for his podcast on SmackDown tonight. Sonya Deville interrupted the interview and was escorted out.
Charlotte Flair appeared during a backstage segment with Adam Pearce later on during the show. The Queen admitted Sonya had been persistent. She asked Pearce to book the two in a title match next week. The match is now official.
Plus, Imperium will take on Braun Strowman and Ricochet in the tag title number one contenders tournament. Strowman and Ricochet replaced Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in the semifinals after a sneak attack by The Viking Raiders.
Strowman and Ricochet beat Hit Row to advance to the finals. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, on the other hand, beat Legado Del Fantasma in the second semifinals. Check out the line-up announced so far here:
