Stephanie McMahon had been part of WWE for several years and was always a constant source of inspiration for fans and pro wrestlers alike. After becoming a highlight during the Attitude Era thanks to her storyline, McMahon managed many backstage roles in WWE as well. McMahon resigned from her duties as co-CEO last week, shocking fans all over the world. Now it seems The Miz made it clear that he believes Stephanie McMahon did a lot for WWE following her exit.

Vince McMahon’s return to WWE as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, and the resulting resignation of co-CEO Stephanie McMahon, ended up shocking the pro wrestling world to its core.

In fact, quite a few fans had started to believe that Stephanie McMahon’s exit may have something to do with the potential sale of the company to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. That being said, there is no truth to this belief.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, The Miz was asked about Stephanie McMahon’s exit from WWE. The Miz stated that he will always be thankful for her leadership and the impact she had on his career.

“For me, she’s always been one of the people you can talk to. She’s done a lot for the company, and she’s a really good person as well.”

The Miz then revealed that Stephanie McMahon, who was then serving as the head of Creative, green-lit one of John Morrison’s ideas, which was The “Dirt Sheet” video series. This move eventually led to the creation of WWE’s YouTube channel.

Ric Flair was also disappointed with Stephanie McMahon’s exit. Her WWE exit also raised flags within the company. She was also thought to be sick of pro wrestling before her resignation. We’ll have to see what Stephanie McMahon will do next.
