The Royal Rumble is set to take place on January 28th at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. This event is expected to generate significant excitement among wrestling fans for various reasons, including the potential to set new records and draw in large crowds. Fans never know who will show up, and that only adds to the excitement. That being said, it seems a former WWE Superstar won’t be appearing for the event.

Chris Masters had a successful career with WWE, but he has since been performing on the independent circuit for several years. He was let go by WWE in 2007, made a brief comeback in 2009, and then made his way back to the independent scene.

Following his release from WWE, Chris Masters adopted the ring name Chris Adonis and has since competed internationally under that moniker. He also achieved success on the independent circuit, capturing the NWA National Heavyweight Championship twice.

With the Royal Rumble set to take place this month, fans have been wondering which surprise entrants will appear during the event. Masters previously teased a return to the company for a while now.

However, Chris Masters took to Twitter recently and revealed that he has not been contacted by WWE For an appearance at the Royal Rumble, which is why he ruled out a return.

Sorry to say I have not been contacted for The Rumble and will almost certainly not be taking part at this point.

This means that Chris Masters won’t be at the Royal Rumble event, but then again, that’s exactly what he would say if they did call him. Masters was at AEW Dynamite in Los Angeles, but the Masterpiece was there as a fan.

Chris Masters also recently stated that he is the ghost of Bobby Lashley’s past. We will have to wait and see whether Masters will return to WWE one day. Regardless, fans won’t get to see him later this month.
