The WWE locker room is full of talented Superstars who go out of their way to entertain fans. R-Truth is one such Superstar, who has seen a career resurgence over the past few years. The most-decorated WWE 24/7 Champion in history suffered an injury on NXT back in November last year. He had surgery for the time, but it seems R-Truth needed additional surgery due to an infection.

R-Truth squared off against Grayson Waller in the opening match of NXT last year. At one point during the match, Truth sent Waller out of the ring for a diving spot. Truth then delivered a dive, but he hit hard on the thin mat outside.

That crash outside the ring resulted in R-Truth suffering the injury. It was then reported that R-Truth will be out of action for up to six months. He underwent surgery for the injury back on November 8th last year.

While speaking during a recent live stream, R-Truth provided fans with an update on his recovery status and return. The WWE veteran revealed that he might be coming back sooner than expected, adding that he needed additional surgery due to an infection.

“Yeah, I’m going back to WWE. I just got to heal up. I had to have two surgeries. A lot of people don’t know that. I caught an infection, so I had to have another surgery. So that set me back. Y’all know me, I’m coming back probably sooner than y’all think

R-Truth added that he enjoyed his time in NXT before he was sidelined and is looking forward to going returning there once he has made a full recovery.

We’ll have to wait and see when R-Truth will finally make his return. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more.
