Brock Lesnar is not someone you want to mess with, but Braun Strowman doesn’t care how big any of his opponents are. This was the case in 2018, and Strowman will never forget that story.

Braun Strowman kneed Brock Lesnar in the head during a triple-threat match against Kane at the 2018 WWE Royal Rumble. In response, an infuriated Lesnar landed a legitimate right-hand punch to Strowman’s jaw. Strowman proudly discussed it and shared his experience five years later in a recent interview.

In an interview with BT Sport, Braun discussed his experience competing against Brock Lesnar. He exclaimed that at the end of the day, it was two scary, powerful males that didn’t want to give an inch to each one, and they took it from each other. He went on to explain how intense it was.

Braun Strowman claimed that Brock Lesnar was a 300lbs unadulterated animalistic beast, but Strowman was a 385lbs monster. In the end, “sh*t got real.”

Sh*t got real! I mean at the end of the day it’s two scary guys, two dominant males not wanting to give an inch to either one and we took it from each other. Things happen, we’re not playing, we’re not ballet, we’re not badminton. We’re physical, he’s 300lbs, of just unadulterated animalistic beast and I’m a 385lbs monster. Things happen. At the end of the day, we made one hell of a segment, that’s what really happened.

Braun Strowman then praised himself, claiming that he is the only person in history to survive an overhand right from Brock Lesnar without being knocked out. He labeled Lesnar as the best opponent and remarked that the bigger the challenge, the better.

I pat myself on the back, I think I’m the only person in history to take an overhand right from Brock Lesnar and not get knocked out. Anytime you get in the ring with The Beast and mix it up, the bigger the challenge the better. If you’re not wrestling the best, then who’d you beat?

As previously reported, Braun Strowman recently teamed up with the Green Bay Packers to create pair of custom boots in memory of a young fan who unfortunately died in the Waukesha tragedy. The boots were inspired by Strowman’s WWE footwear and were done up in Green Bay Packers’ colors.

As we exclusively reported, Brock Lesnar has not made any requests to WWE to book his matches since Vince McMahon’s return. Ringside News reached out to a source familiar with the situation and was bluntly told that the report is “fake news.”

It’ll be interesting to see what Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman have in store for us next. Keep an eye on Ringside News for the latest updates.
