Bobby Lashley restored the prestige of the United States during his last run with the title. Tonight, The Almighty once again earned the opportunity to win the title that has been synonymous with him in the past.

Tonight’s edition of WWE RAW featured a six-pack elimination match between Lashley, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, and Baron Corbin to determine the number one contender for Austin Theory’s United States Championship.

The Miz was the first superstar to be curb stomped from the match. The A-lister had Ziggler locked in a figure four but fell to Rollins’ finisher. The Visionary next eliminated Ziggler with a pedigree. He eliminated Finn Balor as well.

The match went down to Lashley, Rollins and Corbin. The Almighty eliminated Corbin with a spear. Lashley then confronted Omos and MVP, who had come to the ring to scout The Almighty. Lashley picked up the win after he hit Rollins with a spear.

Bobby Lashley will challenge Austin Theory for the United States Championship on the 30th anniversary of RAW next week. Plus, the RAW Tag Team Championship will be on the line as defending Champions The Usos will take on The Judgment Day.

The January 23, 2023, edition of the red brand will emanate from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You can check out the lineup announced so far for the show below:
