Anna Jay Is Doing Okay After Scary Bump On AEW Rampage

Anna Jay has become one of the rising stars in AEW’s women’s division after signing with Tony Khan’s company. Thanks to her genuinely honing her craft, Jay has garnered a solid fan following. That being said, she was recently involved in a very scary spot that made fans worry about her well-being. Thankfully, it seems she is doing alright.

As fans are more than aware by now, Anna Jay is very serious and also consistent when it comes to her in-ring training. After aligning herself with the Jericho Appreciation Society last year, Jay has shown a completely different side of her.

Anna Jay teamed up with Tay Melo and faced off against Willow Nightingale and Ruby Soho in a Street Fight on AEW Rampage last week. At one point during the match, Anna took a scary bump.

The spot in question saw Anna Jay take a powerbomb from Willow Nightingale off of the stage and onto a table. Instead of landing on the table, Jay landed on the floor very hard. This infuriated fans who criticized Nightingale for being unsafe.

That being said, Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio reported that Anna Jay is doing okay even after the spot. Regardless, many fans now see AEW in a negative light as the spot could have turned fatal for Anna Jay.

We are certainly glad to know Anna Jay is healthy and did not suffer any horrible injury. Now it remains to be seen what AEW has planned for the young star next. We just hope she won’t be put in such a position ever again.
