As Triple H took the reins of WWE creative last year, it seems he has set his eyes on Japanese talent. After onboarding prominent NJPW talent Dragon Lee, it looks like WWE has added another NJPW star to the mix.

According to a report by PW Insider, former NJPW Star Karl Fredericks has signed contract with WWE, under the NXT brand. As Fredericks announced the expiration of his NJPW contract on Twitter back in August 2022, WWE was quick to scoop him up.

Karl Fredericks entered the wrestling business back in 2015 after receiving training from Reno Scum. Not too later, he joined NJPW in 2018 and even competed in the Young Lion Cup in 2019, which he won. He made regular appearances at the New Japan strong series until his contract expired back in August 2022.

According to a previous report, Karl Fredericks was spotted at the WWE performance center in Orlando for private try out with company officials. Looks like the officials were quite impressed with the Alpha Wolf of LA, as he is due to start his training this week at the WWE PC. For more updates, stay tuned to Ringside News.
