WWE saw another huge change as Vince McMahon returned to power. Stephanie McMahon stepped down and Mr. McMahon is Chairman of the Board once again. Now the company is seemingly closer to a sale than ever.

Sean Sapp addressed the current rumor going around about Saudi Arabia buying WWE. He heard the same talk, but nothing has been confirmed. That being said, there are still a few vague hints going around that this might be the case.

Hey guys, one of hot rumors is that Saudi buyers are interested in WWE. I’ve gained no actual information thus far to indicate this is actually happening, outside of a few vague hinting messages from people outside WWE WWE contacts claimed to not know what the hints were about.

Let me reiterate, this is one of the things I’ve been told all the vague tweeting is about, and haven’t been given and real indication of it happening. I’m asking. Oh I’m always asking. I promise you don’t have to DM me. I’m asking!

Saudi Arabia and WWE entered into a 10-year contract to produce multiple premium live events in the country. With Vince McMahon stepping back into power with the intention to sell the company, the controversial Kingdom is now a major contender, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

WWE is going through a lot of changes, and Vince McMahon returned to the company to help usher in a sale. This is an interesting situation, and with Saudi Arabia as a potential buyer, you never know what will happen.
