Randy Orton has been away from WWE television since May of 2022. His last match was against The Usos, in which they defeated RK-Bro to unify the WWE Tag Team Championships. Orton and Riddle were attacked by every member of The Bloodline after the match, that was used to write Randy off television due to a back injury. It seems that Orton is still active on social media.

During his time away from the ring, Randy Orton caused an uproar on social media. He recently liked a tweet that implied that Covid-19 vaccines are the reason for many athletes suffering an untimely death these days.

The tweet that Randy Orton said, “Just a friendly reminder that top athletes dropping dead was not a common occurrence before the introduction of COVID-19 mRNA.” Obviously, the controversy is apparent.

This like from Randy Orton was soon noticed by a Twitter user, and then it spread like wildfire. Many were quick to bash The Viper for his anti-vax beliefs.

Although some fans are coming to the defense of the 14-time WWE Champion. A couple of them are saying Randy’s beliefs are not of our business and he doesn’t deserve to be canceled.

It’s doubtful WWE will get involved and seriously reprehend Randy Orton because of liking a tweet. Randy got himself in trouble a lot when he was in his 20s, and his actions nearly cost him his career. Luckily, he matured for the most part.

Randy Orton removed the like after fans started blowing up his mentions about it. In the meantime, you can check out the backlash that it sparked below.
