It should be interesting to see how things play out on tonight’s show.

SmackDown kicks off with The Bloodline destroying the ringside area with Zayn standing on a ravaged announce table as Roman Reigns makes his entrance with Paul Heyman.

With the full Bloodline in the ring, the Memphis crowd acknowledges Reigns. Reigns says we’re going to start things differently tonight. Reigns says he’d like to hear from the honorary Uce Sami Zayn. Zayn says that they are putting everybody on notice that 2023 belongs to the Bloodline. Zayn says they are sending a message this year. Reigns cuts Zayn off and says he wants to talk about what happened last year. Reigns laughs off the notion that “we lost”, Reigns says that “I didn’t lose”, Zayn lost, he was the one pinned, and he’s moving forward from that. Reigns asks why Sami Zayn called his shot and guaranteed a win, Reigns says he is the only one who can do that, and Zayn calling his shot and losing is embarrassing. Reigns is asking Zayn if he is trying to be him and if he thinks he can do these things better. Reigns begins to scream at Zayn as Jey Uso holds Jimmy back.

As Reigns continues to berate Zayn, Kevin Owens then comes out with a sad and confused look on his face. Owens says that before things go too far, Reigns needs to calm down and that he has misdirected anger, and he the last time Reigns was this angry, he was the one who caused it, like how Owens is once again the cause of this anger, not Zayn. Owens says if Reigns wants to deal with the KO problem, the best way to do it is for an Undisputed WWE Universal title match at Royal Rumble. Reigns says he doesn’t care, he just never wants to see Owens ever again, Owens says he will see Reigns at Royal Rumble and goes to the back, having gotten the match he wanted.
