Ronda Rousey came back to WWE during the Royal Rumble last year and eventually went on to become a 2-time Smackdown Women’s Champion. That being said, fans haven’t felt Rousey is the same level as a legitimate star since her return. It didn’t help that her booking wasn’t up to the mark either. That being said, Rousey has been criticized for not caring about professional wrestling.

Ronda Rousey has feuded with the likes of Charlotte Flair, Raquel Rodriguez, Shotzi Blackheart, Liv Morgan and more since her return last year. However, fans just haven’t been invested in her.

While speaking on the One on One podcast, Teddy Long talked about Ronda Rousey’s run in WWE so far. He criticized Ronda Rousey for not caring about professional wrestling.

I’m glad that you mentioned this because that is definitely how I feel. I don’t think she cares anything about our business. I don’t think she takes professional wrestling seriously. I think with her, it’s all about Ronda Rousey. She’s one of the people who’ll go into the business for themselves. So like I said, great person, but this business is different. You gotta take it real seriously.
