Sasha Banks gained free agency from her WWE contract on the New Year’s Eve. The CEO finally made her highly-anticipated NJPW debut at the promotion’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 event tonight.

Sasha Banks made her NJPW debut under the ring name Mercedes Mone. She confronted KAIRI following her successful IWGP Women’s Championship defense against Tam Nakano.

Mercedes Mone shook hands with KAIRI only to drop her with a new finishing move. She then cut a promo where she introduced herself to the Tokyo Dome crowd, calling herself the “CEO of the women’s division.”

Mone’s longtime friend and WWE star Bayley took to Twitter to react to her NJPW debut. The Role Model summed up her reaction in just one word. Check out her Tweet here:

MONÉ

As previously reported, Bayley was at the Tokyo Dome to show her support to her close friend. It appears that Mone is here to stay as she will be challenging for the IWGP women’s title next month.
