WWE Adds 20-Woman Battle Royale & More To NXT New Year’s Evil

Roxanne Perez defeated Mandy Rose to win the NXT Women’s Championship during the main event of NXT on December 13, 2022. Next week, she’ll get to know her first opponent.

WWE announced that 20 women will compete against each other in a battle royale to determine the challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship next Tuesday at New Year’s Evil.

A MASSIVE brawl between the ENTIRE NXT Women’s Division ends up with #WWENXT Women’s Champion @roxanne_wwe announcing No.1 Contender’s Battle Royal at #NewYearsEvil!

Plus, Dijak will take on Tony D’Angelo next Tuesday. The Don of NXT stopped Dijak from destroying Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo this week on NXT and challenged him to a match next week.

The other singles match on the card will see Charlie Dempsey take on Hank Walker. For those who didn’t watch, William Regal’s son wasn’t medically cleared to compete this week on NXT.
