WWE Hoping Dragon Lee Will Be On The Main Roster By WrestleMania Next Year

Dragon Lee is undoubtedly one of the most established and respected pro wrestlers on the planet. He recently signed with WWE on their NXT brand during AAA Noche de Campeones. WWE is also hoping that Dragon Lee will be on the main roster by this time next year.

Dave Meltzer recently discussed Dragon Lee’s current contract with WWE on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio. He said that Lee is currently making less than a quarter of a million with his current NXT contract, which is still the highest dollar deal in NXT. Meltzer further said that he will certainly be called on the main roster by WrestleMania 2024.

Well, that’s certainly the hope that he’ll be on the main roster by WrestleMania 2024. And at that point, you could make 250 or 250 and up, depending on how and what they think.

WWE’s offer was above the standard NXT-level money, but not the main roster pay. It was also mentioned that WWE contracts include a confidentiality clause that prohibits talent and their representatives from disclosing the dollar amount.
