Austin Theory saw his rise to the top card at the time Vince McMahon was in charge of WWE. Even after his “daddy” left the company, Theory remains an important fixture on WWE television programming. However, it looks like he has been pulled from an upcoming WWE live event.

The blue-chip prospect was heavily featured on WWE programming as Vince McMahon’s protégé. His alliance with the former WWE Chairman and CEO was indicative of the fact that he was in for a monster push. Even after McMahon retired, Theory continues to appear regularly on television, as the current WWE United States Champion.

However, it looks like Austin Theory has been pulled from WWE’s upcoming live event in Toronto on Friday. The event’s location, Coca-Cola Coliseum, advertised Theory to battle Seth Rollins in the main event in a steel cage for the US title. Now their site now lists Rollins vs Bobby Lashley instead of Theory.

Austin Theory did compete in the last WWE live event in Cleveland, Ohio on Wednesday, December 28th. We will have to wait and see why the WWE United States champion was pulled from the advertisement. Stay tuned to Ringside News for further updates.
