WWE aired a video package to hype up the arrival of John Cena during SmackDown this week. For those wondering, the Cenation leader is set to team up with Kevin Owens against Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn next week on the blue brand.

Vince McMahon made a cameo during the hype video. The December 23, 2022 edition of SmackDown marked the first time McMahon appeared in a virtual capacity since his retirement from the company on July 23, 2022.

WWE sponsors see a potential Vince McMahon comeback as a big investment risk. It remains to be seen if the 77-year-old will return to the company he transformed into the global juggernaut it is today.
