Sasha Banks has remained one of the biggest topics of discussion all year after she walked out in the middle of Raw back in May. This had ripple effect and brought about quite a few changes in WWE. A lot of people also supported Sasha Banks throughout it all. Her time in WWE is over, which is why fans can’t wait for her upcoming NJPW appearance. With her NJPW appearance set to take place soon, it seems the company is planning to make her appearance a surprise.

As previously reported, Sasha Banks is set to attend the Wrestle Kingdom 17 event in Tokyo Dome on January 4th, 2023. This will mark her first appearance for wrestling promotion in months. It was also reported that Sasha Banks is done with WWE.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer talked about Sasha Banks’ upcoming appearance in NJPW. Meltzer noted that the company plans on making her appearance a surprise.

While New Japan nor Stardom has yet to make an announcement regarding Mercedes/Sasha Banks and the Tokyo Dome, Banks was noted as going to Japan this week looking at marketing herself in that country. While this decision can be changed, as all can, at the moment they are working with the idea of not announcing her appearance ahead of time and making it a surprise ahead of time.
