‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan is most certainly one of the most beloved pro wrestlers in the history of the business. Hacksaw made a name for himself during the golden age of WWE. Jim may be retired, but that doesn’t mean he has forgotten how to subdue someone. Jim did that during recent home invasion and now he finally released a statement regarding the incident.

As previously reported, Duggan’s his home was broken into by an intruder back on Thursday, December 8th around 6:45 p.m. A man in his mid-20s, entered the front door of Jim’s South Carolina home and he took the man down by grabbing his .44 caliber pistol and holding the intruder at gunpoint.

Duggan took to Instagram and uploaded a post, where he thanked fans for all the support after they reached out to him after hearing about the story.

“We would like to thank the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Department for their prompt and professional response last week. A man who we had never seen before climbed our fence, ran through our yard to our front door, and was pounding on our glass doors. Before we could get to the door, he opened it and fell into our house. I held him at gunpoint while Debra called 911. We are safe with no damage. Thanks to everyone for the concern and well wishes!”
