The December 30th episode of SmackDown is set to take place from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. The show made headlines recently after John Cena was advertised to make an appearance on the blue brand. It also looks like John Cena’s appearance on the final SmackDown of the year has moved a lot of ticket sales.

WrestleTix is reporting that out of a total searing capacity of 11,013 seats, 9,363 seats have been sold, meaning that only 1,650 tickets are available for sale. This means that SmackDown has nearly sold out two weeks in advance.

To prove how much of a draw John Cena is, 1,889 tickets were sold since his appearance was announced.

Given that there only about 1,650 tickets left with still two weeks to go, it is highly likely that SmackDown will sell out well in advance. Apart from John Cena’s appearance, no other matches or segments have been announced for the show so far. Stay tuned to Ringside News for live coverage of WWE SmackDown.
