John Cena shocked the WWE Universe when he appeared via satellite in the main event of SmackDown this week. The 16-time World Champion interrupted The Bloodline’s promo during the main event.

Cena told the group he’ll be in Kevin Owens corner for a huge tag team match against Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn on the last SmackDown of 2022. Cena said he received a text message from KO, asking him to team up for the huge tag team match.

WWE advertised Cena’s return during Raw this past Monday as well. The Cenation leader will join his former rival against The Tribal Chief and The Honorary Uce on the December 30, 2022 edition of SmackDown.
