Ever since AEW first started a couple of years ago, Tony Khan has gone on a hiring spree. He brought on a lot of ex-WWE talent as well as some indie darlings. Soon, they had a full roster of wrestlers who needed a lot of television time.

This resulted in AEW forming AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation. A few years later, they launched their second weekly television called AEW Rampage. It’s no surprise that managing such a big roster isn’t an easy task considering there are only three hours of television time available per week.

Tony Khan has to keep the roster happy with sufficient television time. While the top guys don’t have to worry about being on television, it’s normally the younger wrestlers who suffer. However, Tay Melo has been all praise for Tony Khan’s booking of the AEW talent when she spoke to Denise Salcedo.

“There’s something that I really think that Tony (Khan) does really well. It’s like trying to keep people on tv. We just have three hours of tv a week and we have like an entire roster it’s crazy. It’s not enough time you know. But I feel like that Tony does a really good job trying to keep like everybody there like it’s a circle. Sometimes, it’s gonna be your time and then sometimes it’s somebody else time,” Tay Melo said.
