Mandy Rose lost the NXT Women’s Title to Roxanne Perez, something that was supposed to go down at New Year’s Evil. Of course, those plans were moved ahead when Shawn Michaels found out that Mandy Rose was selling NFSW content behind her premium paywall service. It turns out that she was okay with this situation before the show.

Mandy Rose was fired by WWE the day after she lost the NXT Women’s Title. Since then, an onslaught of viral messages have called for WWE to re-hire her.

Sean Sapp reported some new updates about Mandy Rose’s situation behind Fightful’s paywall. It was reported that the situation was treated in a hasty manner, but Mandy Rose is in good spirits.

We’re told that things seemed “very hasty” as it relates to Mandy Rose losing the NXT Title Tuesday. Fightful got word about 15 minutes before NXT went on the air, that word was that a major title switch was going to happen, with Mandy dropping the championship.

Those close to Mandy Rose claim she was in good spirits at the NXT show Tuesday night, as well as immediately following the release. Obviously, she’s going to be fine from a financial standpoint.

It was also reported that the Toxic Attraction stable “impressed” WWE higher-ups, but “we’d not learned of any advanced plans to bring Mandy back to the main roster.”

Mandy Rose signed a five-year deal in 2019, one of several Superstars who did so. She had about two years left in her deal, but obviously WWE had the power to terminate that agreement at any time.

Mandy Rose was making a lot more money through her premium content paywall than with WWE. It’s not a huge surprise that she decided to carry on in her current career path, given the financial benfit. Still, a WWE return doesn’t seem to be out of the question.
