WWE has a lot of options as we hit the home stretch onto another Road to WrestleMania. The card is coming together internally, and WWE reportedly has a massive match in store for Brock Lesnar.
According to a new report from Wrestling News, WWE has decided on Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 39 opponent, but it’s not Bobby Lashley. In fact, WWE is reportedly planning to pair The Beast Incarnate up against GUNTHER.
After asking someone who is familiar with the creative plans, WrestlingNews.co was told that Lesnar vs. Gunther is one of the matches listed internally for the show. Gunther has talked about wanting the match because he feels that a match with Lesnar would present the biggest possible challenge for him.
A Brock Lesnar vs WALTER match was on fans’ dream match lists for years. Now that he is GUNTHER, that match is going to reportedly take place. Only time will tell how they arrive at that collision, but it will be a massive one.
Ringside News exclusively reported that The Rock is a virtual lock for WrestleMania. We also exclusively reported that Vince McMahon gave his blessing to John Cena to do as much with WWE as he can, despite Mr. McMahon’s retirement. It seems that, along with rumors of another Steve Austin match at Mania, that the show of shows is shaping up to be a massive one for Triple H’s first chance booking the yearly extravaganza.
