All Elite Wrestling has been mentioned on every mainstream platform lately and there is one superstar that claims to have pulled all eyeballs toward the upstart promotion. He is none other than the current AEW World champion, MJF. He recently bragged about being responsible for AEW’s recent success.

MJF reached the pinnacle of All Elite Wrestling this past November when he dethroned Jon Moxley at Full Gear to win his first-ever AEW World championship. Since he grasped the title firmly in his clutches, MJF has taken every opportunity to remind the fans that he will take AEW to greater heights and remain champion for a long time.

The Salt of the Earth recently credited himself for bringing mainstream success to AEW with his publicity as a champion. He posted on Twitter claiming that he has been promoting AEW on various cultural platforms such as movies, UFC, and huge News outlets to revamp the promotion into a cultural zeitgeist.

“What I’ve done for publicity of myself and the

@aew brand since becoming world champion is bring us out of the grotesque wrestling bubble and into the cultural zeitgeist. Movies/TV/UFC/Huge News outlets. Only the beginning.”

MJF is set to defend his AEW World championship against Ricky Starks at AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view, Winter is Coming. This will be MJF’s first title defense since winning the title at AEW Full Gear.
