WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff is one of the most well-known veterans in the pro wrestling world. Easy E’s knowledge of the pro wrestling business is second to none and he always has a very strict view of the modern pro wrestling landscape. Bischoff is never afraid of speaking his mind when it comes to The Elite – as he is usually critical of them. It seems Bischoff also believes The Elite is barely known outside their fanbase.
The Elite, comprising Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, has been in the news for all the wrong reasons after the AEW All Out brawl with CM Punk. Many people still believe that they were in the wrong for that incident.
The Elite also plays up to the ‘smarks’ or a very niche audience and is largely favorable to those fans only. Eric Bischoff recently took to Twitter and agreed with a fan who stated that no one outside of their fanbase knows who The Elite is.
Sad, but true.
The Elite is currently trailing behind Death Triangle in their Best of 7 series for the AEW Trios Titles. They will face Death Triangle again on AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming this week. We will have to wait and see whether The Elite will be able to win the match or not.
