Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out in the middle of Raw back in May, and this led to a lot of changes in the following months. Their future in WWE remains a big question mark, especially in Sasha Banks’ case. Sasha is also set to appear at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4th, and it looks like we now have a possible location for her first match if that is in the cards.

Sasha Banks will be attending the Tokyo Dome performance on 1/4 as Mercedes Varnado or Mercedes Mone. Although it hasn’t been officially announced, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter did learn that the winner of the Kairi vs. Tam Nakano IWGP title battle on that night is now set to defend the title on February 18th in San Jose. This could be a likely place for Sasha Banks to step in the ring.

Mike Johnson reported that Sasha Banks as Mercedes Varnado or Mercedes Mone would be at the Tokyo Dome show on 1/4. That hasn’t been confirmed, past we did learn that the Kairi vs. Tam Nakano winner of the IWGP title match on that show is right now scheduled to defend the title on 2/18 in San Jose.

The Boss has removed all references to WWE from her social media, which led fans to believe she is truly done with the company. Sasha Banks and WWE are still negotiating their money situation. Stay tuned to Ringside News to get the latest updates.
