Tony D’Angelo sent Tommaso Ciampa and Legado Del Fantasma packing from WWE NXT. Unfortunately, the Don of NXT suffered a terrible injury weeks ago. Tonight, he finally made his in-ring return to the white and gold brand.

Tony D’Angelo made his in-ring return during NXT this week. The Don of NXT took on Xyon Quinn in his comeback match. D’Angelo made quick work of Quinn and picked up the win after several minutes.

Tony D’Angelo grabbed a mic after the match and cut a promo. The NXT star dragged Wes Lee for costing him 10 weeks of in-ring action, noting he wanted to go after the NXT North American Championship.

Wes Lee interrupted the promo and told D’Angel0 he never intend to injure the Don. The two engaged in a verbal back-and-forth until Dijak appeared on the giant screen to interrupt their promo.
