The latest edition of AEW Rampage saw an exciting match featuring AEW-All Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy defending his championship against QT Marshall in a lumberjack match. However, many fans did notice that that former WWE superstar Kevin Thorn was also in attendance to serve as one of the lumberjacks, however there was no mention of him on AEW television programming.

Kevin Thorn started his wrestling career in 2000 in his hometown promotion, Memphis Championship Wrestling. After achieving some success on the independent circuit. He was signed by the WWE in 2006 to wrestle in their ECW brand, adopting the gimmick of a vampire character.

Kevin Thorn did not achieve much success during his three years with WWE, and he was released from his contract in 2009. He still racked up a ton of memories and fans remember him to this day.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Kevin Thorn was a part of the match between Orange Cassidy and QT Marshall on the latest edition of AEW Rampage, however his appearance as the lumberjack was not acknowledged on live television.

“Dude I was watching that show….Orange Cassidy at one point just does a flip dive on one of these lumberjacks and there is a guy there kinda like ‘Who is this guy’. I could not for the life of me forget who this was and then they keep wrestling and there was no mention of this guy…..I mean yeah Kevin Thorn was there.”

Kevin Thorn has continued to wrestle on the independent circuit since his WWE departure and also works as a realtor in the Indianapolis, Indiana metro area. It will be interesting to see if Kevin could become a regular name on AEW programming, with hopefully some mention of him in the future, unlike the last episode of Rampage.
