Cody Rhodes became one of the highlights of WWE television once he made his triumphant return to the company during WrestleMania 38. His stock only rose with every passing week thanks to his solid presentation and mic skills. Rhodes has been out of action due to injury, but it seems he is finally back to normal when it comes to his training.

The American Nightmare had all the momentum in the world since his return, but he has been absent since Hell In A Cell due to a torn pectoral muscle. Cody Rhodes underwent surgery for his injury and has been working hard rehabbing his injury afterwards.

According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cody Rhodes is recovering at a solid pace. In fact, he is back to normal when it comes to his training regime.

“Cody Rhodes’ recovery is going well. He’s been working heavily with top level trainers to put on size and strength and hit 240 pounds legit, which may be the thickest he’s been in his life.

He’s back to normal when it comes to his ability to train and left. No word when he’ll return given it makes sense for it to be a surprise.”

Cody Rhodes hinted at making his return during the Royal Rumble match next year, but nothing is confirmed as of yet. We’ll have to see if he will return during the event or not, as fans certainly miss The American Nightmare.
