Ric Flair was able to end his in-ring career in the way he wanted back in July. The Nature Boy teamed up with his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo and faced Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett on July 31st, 2022. In fact, Flair decided to tease yet another match recently.

Flair took some scary bumps and even bled during the match, something that he vowed to do before the match. In the end, The Nature Boy won the match and somehow managed to finish without any serious injury.

While speaking on his To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair talked about Ricky Steamboat’s in-ring return. Flair then claimed that he could wrestle again and be better than his retirement match.

“I have not spoken to him, so I don’t know the answer to that. When I spoke to him, we were trying to get him to work with us. He indicated to me back then that he didn’t think, health-wise, he was ready to do it. It’s what makes him feel good.

Like I say about myself, I could wrestle again right now too, and I’d be a lot better than I was in the Last Match because when you’re gone away that long you forget about little things that’ll make a difference and you spend too much time getting in shape for it that you don’t think about little things like dehydrating.

I was so into the training part that I forgot about little things. I think he should do what he wants to do. He’s Ricky Steamboat, there’s only going to be one Ricky Steamboat, whether it’s good or bad, it’s not going to affect his legacy. He’s the best babyface in the history of the business.”

It remains to be seen whether The Nature Boy will be making a return to the pro wrestling ring once again, despite already retiring earlier this year. Fans will be concerned if Flair does end up competing again. Keep checking back with Ringside News for The Nature Boy’s latest updates.
