Joey Gacy has been described as one of the mainstays in WWE NXT. He has achieved recognition for his dark character back in the developmental territory for about two years. Recently, shots were taken at him by fans comparing him to Bray Wyatt, and Gacy has now gone on to respond to the netizens.

Joe Gacy made his professional wrestling debut in Combat Zone Wrestling in 2006. He went on become a 3-time World Champion and had a remarkably long tenure with the company. He signed with WWE NXT in 2020 and made his televised debut in July 2021, defeating Desmond Troy to qualify for the 2021 NXT Breakout Tournament.

The rising star of Shawn Michaels’s NXT has done well playing disturbed and dark character over the past few months. Many have compared his on-screen presentation with the likes of The Undertaker and, most recently, Bray Wyatt. Gacy tweeted to a Liv Morgan fan account last night, claiming he had no friends.

“Doubt it, this person has no friends.”

Joe Gacy’s comments invited several fans taking shots at him. Many of them went to refer to as a ‘discount Bray Wyatt’ and ‘poor man’s Bray Wyatt’ indicating that the NXT upstart was an inferior version of The Face of Fear. Gacy went on to respond to some of those comments as well.

@t_mckenz85 @JoeGacy Or maybe discount Bray Wyatt needs to learn that a Spotify wrap isn’t worth arguing with Stan accounts on twitter this dude is a nut.”

“poor man’s bray wyatt dissing me.”

Joe Gacy was rumored to play one of the Fire Fly Funhouse characters as a part of Bray Wyatt’s speculated faction ‘Wyatt 6’ when the Eater of Worlds made his comeback a few months ago at WWE Extreme Rules. It could a matter of time when these two magnanimous stars cross paths to either form an alliance or go head-to-head with each other.
