Konosuke Takeshita won over AEW fans in recent months. He has competed in a series of terrific matches on AEW television, against the likes of Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley. He came back to AEW recently and now it seems Konosuke Takeshita is now a part of the AEW roster.

The young Japanese wrestler saw a ton of success in Japan, winning multiple titles in various promotions before making his way to the US earlier this year. In the span of 4 months, His entry into AEW was thanks to their relationship with his company in Japan.

Takeshita has competed in numerous promotions apart from AEW as well. He teamed up with Jun Akiyama and defeated Eddie Kingston and Ortiz in a tag team match on Rampage this week.

AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter and officially announced that he has signed Konosuke Takeshita to a contract.

According to a report by Fightful’s paywall, immediate reactions to Konosuke Takeshita from the roster have been extremely positive as well. We will have to see how Takeshita will fare as part of AEW from now on.
