Anthony Bowens has been credited as one of the proud members of the LGBT community in the wrestling industry. The one half of the Acclaimed was sported wearing a sling recently with many believing him to be injured. However, Bowens has given an update regarding the same and about his upcoming appearance.

Max Caster and Anthony Bowens collectively known as The Acclaimed became the AEW World Tag Team champions defeating Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland at AEW Grand Slam 2022 in September 2022. Bowens was wearing a sling, indicating that he may have suffered shoulder injury during his match with Swerve Strickland at this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Anthony Bowens injury being legitimate or included as a part of storyline as Swerve Strickland focused on attacking his shoulder during the match, is unclear at the moment. One half of the AEW World Tag Team champion posted a photo on Twitter from his trip to Rolling Stone magazine, revealing his arm to be in a sling.

“Dropped by Rolling Stone earlier today. The only high point of a tough day,”

The Acclaimed member posted tweet to follow-up in response to a ShopAEW tweet for tonight’s pre-show meet and greet before this week’s AEW Rampage.

“Yes, I’ll still be a part of this. Looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow night in Jersey,”

Anthony Bowens’s status for AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view, Full Gear is currently unknown. The Acclaimed is still scheduled to defend their AEW World Tag Team championships against Swerve in Our Glory (Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee) at the event. It looks like we would get a full update regarding Bowes’s injury on tonight’s edition of AEW Rampage.

Anthony Bowens started his wrestling training in 2012 and made his professional wrestling debut in 2013. He wrestled for various promotions including WWE and Impact Wrestling. AEW President Tony Khan signed Bowens alongside Max Caster as a tag team to the company in November 2020.
