The Usos won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship from Rey and Dominik Mysterio at Money in the Bank kickoff on July 18, 2021. Jimmy and Jey defeated RK-Bro for the Raw Tag Team Championship during the May 20, 2022, edition of SmackDown. Tonight, they set another record.

The Usos put their tag titles on the line against The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston) on SmackDown tonight. The two teams put on a stellar performance. Jimmy and Jey won the match after hitting Kingston with a huge 1-D.

Following the win, The Usos have become the longest-reigning tag team champions in WWE history, surpassing New Day’s record of 483 days. The massive feat was recognized on WWE TV as well.
