Bad Bunny teamed up with Damian Priest and duked it out against The Miz & John Morrison in tag team match on Night One of WrestleMania 37 last year. Bad Bunny’s performance was better than anyone expected as well. In spite of that, EC3 dragged Bad Bunny for a bizarre reason.
Bad Bunny got a ton of props for his work, and he also truly appreciated the pro wrestling world after proper training for the event. Bad Bunny also said that pro wrestling is ‘100% real’ and this garnered a lot of positive reception from fans and Superstars alike.
Not only that, but Bad Bunny also appeared during the Men’s Royal Rumble match this year. While speaking on The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 dragged Bad Bunny for not doing anything in pro wrestling before WWE.
“I think when you deal with high-level celebs that are complete narcissists, what has Bad Bunny done besides have a couple of hit songs? He’s probably coddled to and given everything. They can never give on the way out, whoever gets over. Bad Bunny can’t do the job on the way out. Bad Bunny’s got a show in two weeks; he can’t be beaten now.
Tyson Fury is a Heavyweight Champion boxer; he can’t go to Saudi and lose. You’re just putting yourself in a terrible position where you’re sending them off to a match with a bad finish, and nobody gets over, and that makes the casual viewer tune off.”
Bad Bunny’s Royal Rumble appearance this year was one-off. We will have to wait and see when the musical sensation will return to WWE. Fans would love to see him back as well.
