Nick Aldis has been a prominent feature for the NWA over the past few years. However, it seems like the former NWA Champion has had enough of the company. He even went on Instagram to announce that he has given his notice to the NWA.

Nick’s decision comes as tensions rise between himself and the NWA due to creative differences with Billy Corgan. The announcement that he is leaving NWA hasn’t sat well with NWA and they issued a statement saying that they are suspending him immediately.

“Pursuant to the recent comments made by Nick Aldis, the National Wrestling Alliance, has suspended Aldis from the main roster and effective immediately Aldis will not appear for the Hard Times 3 PPV and Revolution Rumble television tapings in New Orleans, LA on Nov. 12, 2022 and Nov. 13, 2022.”

NWA Chief Operating Officer Joe Galli who confirmed that Nick Aldis is under contract with the promotion through the end of the year, confirmed that “this is not wrestling angle.”

Nick Aldis was scheduled to face Odinson at NWA Hard Times 3 PPV this Saturday, but that match will obviously not take place. For now, it looks like Aldis will become a free agent in January 2023. Stay tuned as Ringside News will stay on this story as it develops.
