Kevin Owens made his debut on Monday Night RAW against John Cena in 2015. Owens was also the NXT Champion at that time. He made his shocking debut on RAW by answering John Cena’s United States Championship open challenge. Triple H loves recreating history, and it seems he will be doing just that with Grayson Waller.

Fans were certainly elated at his debut and gave a huge pop. Owens dropped John Cena during their confrontation and then stomped on the US title while holding up his NXT Championship. He ended up defeating John Cena in his main roster debut as well.

Grayson Waller is currently one of the top heels in NXT and finds it easy to generate heel heat. While speaking with GiveMeSport, WrestleVotes stated that Triple H is planning a Kevin Owens-like main roster debut for Grayson Waller.

“WWE really likes Grayson Waller and really see something in him.

“He may stay down in NXT, just so they can try to figure out something big for him, like Kevin Owens coming in and beating John Cena.

“They like him a lot, so that’s one guy that they’re gonna try to do something serious with.”

We will have to wait and see when Grayson Waller will get called up to the main roster. If anything, his ability to get heat on the microphone cannot be downplayed. He is also improving every week in the ring. The future certainly looks bright for the young star. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates!
