Tyler Breeze was one of the most prominent stars in NXT. During his days on the black and gold brand, he picked up a notable victory over Jushin Thunder Liger. However, his transition to the main roster wasn’t as successful. While he found some level of success as part of Breezango, his singles career continued to flounder until he was released in June 2021.

Since his WWE release, Tyler Breeze hasn’t wrestled a single match. However, he still remains a part of the wrestling business as he is running a wrestling school with current AEW star Shawn Spears. During an appearance on “The Sessions with Renee Paquette,” Shawn Spears mentioned that Breeze considers his in-ring career to be over.

“There will be times we’ll hop in the ring and have 20, 25 minutes. We just did that a couple of weeks ago with the Gunns, just at the school to get some cardio in. He can still go, he still does everything. But I say to him, ‘Hey man, getting ready for a second run?’ He goes ‘Nah, [I’m] retired.’ So I don’t know. That’s the true answer. But I see the excitement sometimes when he hops in.”

During the same interview, Shawn Spears also said that he hopes Breeze isn’t done with wrestling because he is so passionate about the business. He also noted that it’s just a matter of the right opportunity. We will have to wait and see if the right opportunity presents itself to Breeze.

Hey there! I'm a passionate pro wrestling fan. Since I unintentionally changed the TV channel and watched a clip from Monday Night RAW in 2006, I have been enamored with the world of professional wrestling. I've been hooked ever since. I got into WWE content writing 5 years ago and I still get excited when I get to tell people that I get paid to watch pro wrestling.
