Triple H is most certainly a veteran in the pro wrestling world and is one of the most important figures in WWE’s history. He was one of the highlights of the Attitude Era, and he also knows how to draw money, even today. Triple H recently hinted at CM Punk’s WWE comeback following the Second City Savior’s apparent departure from AEW.

Triple H recently discussed the chances of CM Punk’s WWE return in 2023. Ringside News obtained a video where The Game wouldn’t shut down the possibility of Punk’s eventual return. In fact, Triple H said that he always picks up the phone if someone calls him.

Triple H finally said “I’ll never say never” to CM Punk’s return. He further highlighted that the desire needs to be there from both the sides just to make things happen.

Look, I think at any point of time, somebody in this business has thought anything like, ‘People say would you take the call?’ I don’t know if I can think of anybody in the business that if they called me, I would take their phone call whether in the business or whatever. And I would answer the phone.

I think we would have a conversation. But again, you know CM Punk worked with us on the FOX show, what a year ago? And there was opportunities there and there were people around each other at all times. You know, again I’ll never say never, but the desire needs to be there at all sides just to make things happen.

CM Punk’s run in WWE came to an end after the Royal Rumble in 2014 after he was simply fed up with WWE which led to him walking out. He also hasn’t heard from AEW since the backstage brawl. Only time will tell if CM Punk will return to WWE.
