Colt Cabana, a multi-time champion, last competed for Tony Khan’s promotion at Death Before Dishonor on July 23rd, 2022, when he defeated Anthony Henry in singles competition. Needless to say, Cabana showing up in AEW was interesting, especially considering CM Punk’s current status.

WrestleVotes recently took to Twitter to highlight Colt Cabana’s appearance on Dynamite last night. Cabana’s name keeps coming up, and Stamford was watching.

Colt Cabana showing up on Dynamite last night didn’t go unnoticed in Stamford. That’s all I’ll say on that right now…

Colt Cabana is possibly responsible for the post-All Out altercation between CM Punk and the Elite. He was not in the Brawl Out situation, but his name was a big talking point for Punk.

Cabana has competed throughout it all on independent shows, occasionally for AEW in Germany, and at Ring of Honor, where he was apparently transferred.

Colt Cabana did not win against Jericho on Dynamite this week, but this appearance is notable, especially since CM Punk threw such huge shade at him during his infamous media scrum after AEW All Out. WWE was also paying close attention to the underlying meaning of it all. You can check out the tweet below.
