Emma’s first stint with WWE may not have ended on the best of terms, but that doesn’t mean there’s no chance to make things right. Now that she’s back, Emma wants to accomplish things she couldn’t during his first run with the company.
Emma returned to WWE last Friday night on SmackDown. The Australian answered Ronda Rousey’s open challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Emma lost the match after Rousey made her tap out to the armbar. WWE cameras caught up with Emma for a digital exclusive backstage. Emma said she waited five years to come back to WWE.
“Can’t tell you how good it feels to be back. I waited five years for tonight … five years to make sure that I’m never forgotten again. And now, I know exactly what I have to do to be the champion.”
We’ll have to wait to see what Triple H has in store for Emma now that she’s back full time with WWE. Keep reading Ringside News for more from the world of pro wrestling.
