Huge Spoiler On Returning Superstar Backstage At SmackDown This Week

Last week on SmackDown, Ronda Rousey said that she will issue an open challenge tonight on SmackDown. This left many fans speculating as to who will step up and face the SmackDown Women’s Champion. It now looks her challenger is going to be a returning superstar.

PW Insider reports that former WWE Superstar Tenille Dashwood, formerly known as Emma during her WWE tenure, is backstage at tonight’s SmackDown taping in St. Louis. She will likely make her return to WWE television tonight.

Former WWE star Teniille Dashwood aka Emma during her time with WWE is at tonight’s Smackdown taping in St. Louis, Missouri.  She is expected to return tonight as the person responding to Ronda Rousey’s open challenge.

Tenille Dashwood became the first Australian woman to sign with WWE when she inked a deal with the promotion in 2011. She quickly became a standout babyface on NXT. However, Tenille Dashwood couldn’t translate the popularity into a successful run.

Emma had two runs with the company. During her second run, she turned heel and took on a new name, Emmalina. However, WWE dropped the character before Emmalina could officially debut. Tenille Dashwood was eventually released from the WWE in 2017. It will be interesting to see how they use her this time around. She is also currently dating Madcap Moss.
