Billy Gunn Addresses His Absence From D-Generation X’s Reunion On WWE RAW

D-Generation X celebrated their 25h anniversary on the October 10 episode of WWE Raw with Triple H, Sean Waltman, Shawn Michaels and Road Dogg. Fans were really into the whole segment as well.

However, one crucial member was not part of the show and that was Billy Gunn. This is because he is still signed to AEW. The belief was that WWE tried all they could in order to have Gunn appear for the show.

While speaking with Sports Illustrated about missing the segment, Billy Gunn talked about his absence. He said that he would have loved to have been a part of it, but he understands why it didn’t happen.

“Of course, I would have liked to have been there, but I understand that I work for another company,” Gunn says. “It was a collective decision. I’m not putting it on anyone. I’m not sour about it. We’re two separate companies, and it just didn’t work out.”

While Gunn was not directly mentioned, Corey Graves noted that an absent member was working with office supplies, referencing Gunn’s alliance with The Acclaimed.
