Riho last made an appearance for AEW during the May 28th, 2022, edition of AEW Dark. She made her surprise return to Dynamite tonight and helped Toni Storm in a major way.

Toni Storm put her AEW Interim Women’s World Championship on the line against Hikaru Shida this week on Dynamite. Then Jamie Hayter and Rebel attacked Toni Storm following her successful title defense.

Riho appeared during the beatdown and helped Toni Storm fend off the aggressors. The two celebrated in the ring after chasing off Hayter and Rebel to end the segment.

Riho’s last AEW match saw her team up with Skye Blue and Yuka Sakazaki to face the trio of Diamante, Emi Sakura & Nyla Rose. The match was taped for AEW’s YouTube show, Dark.

Riho is the first-ever AEW Women’s World Champion. She won the title by defeating Nyla Rose on the October 2nd, 2019, episode of AEW Dynamite. Keep reading Ringside News for more, because we certainly haven’t seen the last of Riho.
