Saraya Is Determined To Face Britt Baker In AEW

Saraya was left with no choice but to retire from in-ring competition in 2017 and that brought about a lot of changes in general. The former Paige remained relevant in other roles for years after that, but she never wrestled again.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion left the company back in July after WWE decided not to renew her contract for some reason. She then made her All Elite Wrestling debut during ‘Dynamite: Grand Slam.

She was also cleared for in-ring competition. While speaking on Talk Is Jericho, Saraya named stars she wants to square off against inside the squared circle. This included Britt Baker.

“Britt, 100%. I know she gets used a lot, but she’s really good. I really want to get in the ring with Nyla (Rose). I love Sonny (Kiss). I know she’s working in the male division, but I would love to work her eventually. Jade (Cargill) looks really impressive, I’m not really familiar with her wrestling style as much yet because she’s so new. I’m looking forward to seeing where she goes. Jamie Hayter, I think she’s fantastic. People love her. They really want her to be babyface. I’m like, ‘You should really keep this going for a long time.’ There are so many different women I look forward to working with.”

We will have to wait and see how Saraya will be booked in the coming weeks. For the time being, she is just happy to be back on television. Fans should see what the company has in store for her next week.
