AEW Ignores Kenny Omega’s Birthday

Fuego Del Sol was has been a regular part of AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation celebrated his 27th birthday recently. AEW’s Twitter account extended their wishes to the AEW star. However, fans were quick to point out that AEW ignored Kenny Omega’s brithday.

Kenny Omega celebrated his 39th birthday on October 16th. However, AEW didn’t acknowledge the former AEW World Champion’s birthday on social media. This comes as tensions between Kenny Omega and AEW are on the rise since the backstage altercation that took place following AEW All Out.

As of this writing, AEW has yet to send out a birthday greeting for Kenny Omega.

The backstage altercation that saw multiple top stars get suspended was a black mark on the company’s legacy. Since their suspension, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were stripped of their titles and rarely mentioned on AEW programming. Even during last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, “Hangman” Adam Page mentioned that his “old friends” have disappeared from company without referencing their names.

It was also reported that Adam Page was explicitly not allowed to mentioned any of the names of the suspended people. Tony Khan is supposed to be conducting an investigation into the backstage altercation. But he has refrained from providing any update regarding the investigation. It will be interesting if and when Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks return of AEW.
