Rey Mysterio Feels His Move To WWE SmackDown Is A New Beginning

Rey Mysterio is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling, whose influence in the industry is far-reaching. He has done it all as far as being a professional wrestler is concerned.

He has dedicated more than 30 years of his life to the industry and has a ton of respect from fans and peers alike. He has been wrestling since he was 14 and his contributions to the business cannot be understated.

As seen on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Rey Mysterio made his shocking return to the brand after stating that he is quitting WWE. Triple H managed to convince him otherwise.

While speaking to Kayla Braxton, Mysterio if his conversation with Triple H had anything to do with his success. Mysterio stated that he feels his Smacodwn move is a new beginning.

“That had a lot to do with it,” said Mysterio. “I’ll tell you what, I came here with my mind set on literally just stepping away from the game. It hurts me to see my son go through what he is going through right now and I just will never fight him. But this opened up my eyes in a different way. This is a new beginning for Rey Mysterio.”

Rey Mysterio also earned a shot at GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Championship. We will have to wait and see how Mysterio will be booked in the coming weeks.
