Saraya Explains Why She Missed AEW Dynamite This Week

Saraya was Paige in WWE, but she was left with no choice but to retire from in-ring competition in 2017. That life event for Saraya brought about a lot of changes in general. She remained relevant in other WWE roles for years after that, but she never wrestled again.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion left the company back in July after WWE decided not to renew her contract for some reason. She then made her All Elite Wrestling debut during ‘Dynamite: Grand Slam.

As previously reported, Saraya was cleared for in-ring competition in AEW. However, she was nowhere to be seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

A fan took to Twitter and asked Saraya why she didn’t appear during the show. Saraya answered the fan, revealing that she had to travel to the UK.

Sorry!! I’ll be back in next week in Cinci. Had to take a trip home to UK!

We will have to wait and see how Saraya will be booked in the coming weeks. For the time being, she is just happy to be back on television. Fans should see what the company has in store for her next week.
